This is about the book “The Bell Curve” by Charles A. Murray and Richard Hermstein published in 1994, which was controversial because it implied that blacks are inferior in intelligence to their white peers. The word implied suggests that we do not know it if the authors intended the implication or not. If it was was intentional, the study would not serve any public purpose because such comparisons are not in the public realm. Individuals’ intelligence and ability serves themselves and they contribute to the society according to their ability.
